Touched by Angels: True Cases of Close Encounters of the Celestial Kind

A beloved inspirational work offering real-life accounts of people who believe they’ve encountered angels, originally published in the 1990s and continuing to resonate with readers interested in the spiritual and transcendental.

In Touched by Angels, author Eileen Elias Freeman explores the nature of angelic encounters through moving personal stories from a variety of individuals. From a workaholic who claims a guardian angel helped save his life to a young girl whose fear of death was soothed by an angel’s presence, these narratives offer uplifting and thought-provoking examples of how people interpret experiences with celestial beings. Interwoven with Freeman’s reflections and insights, this collection seeks to answer why angels appear to humanity, what their presence may mean, and how such encounters can lead to comfort, change, and spiritual growth.
