About

This outrageously funny collection introduces ten of the most dreadful teachers imaginable, each bringing their own bizarre personality and ridiculous behavior into the classroom. Among them are Dr. Dread, a half-human, half-monster science teacher, and Miss Seethe, whose explosive temper leads to an endless rampage of detentions.

Readers also meet Mr. Pent, a teacher who is hilariously terrified of the very children he is supposed to teach. Through ten wildly imaginative short stories, David Walliams transforms ordinary school experiences into extraordinary adventures filled with mischief, mayhem, and unexpected surprises.

Accompanied by Tony Ross's energetic illustrations, this entertaining collection combines exaggerated characters, absurd situations, and laugh-out-loud humor to delight young readers who enjoy mischievous school stories.
