The Sermon on the Mount

Christian booklovers will adore this elegant book – a beautiful reproduction of a Victorian-era publication celebrating one of The Bible's most important passages and Jesus' most famous teachings. An actual copy of the famed 1890 edition of the book, first published by the legendary Boston-based Roberts Brothers, was lovingly scanned for this edition, and features gold-foil title and cross with black-letter stamping on the stunning red cloth cover, gilded edges, and the highest quality paper for the vintage illustrations and design elements featured throughout the book.

Sermon on the Mount also features the most well-known prayer of the Christian faith - the Lord's Prayer - and many other treasured passages of the New Testament accompanied by dramatic, period drawings. With a moving introduction by renowned 19th Century author and minister, Edward Everett Hale, this celebration of Jesus' greatest teachings makes a wonderful gift, and will be a treasured keepsake for Christians wanting to remember His messages today - and how those words have been honored in books throughout the centuries.
