About

No great figure has ever appeared in history without an abundance of myths and stories growing up around them. Adam and Eve, Joseph and Potiphar's wife, and even Jesus Christ and his mother Mary, are no exception. The Lost Books of the Bible and The Forgotten Books of Eden present these Folk Tales - stories told by contemporary fiction writers of historical Bible times - in fascinating and beautiful style. Though suppressed by the early Church Fathers, these fables of Adam and Eve following the Fall, of the girlhood and betrothal of Mary, and of the childhood of Jesus are all here with the warmth, intimacy, and humanity of their first telling.
