About

Tibetan Buddhist master Nyoshul Khenpo Rinpoche gave these teachings on Dzogchen to participants in a three-year retreat in France in the 1980s. He introduces the Buddhist path; provides inspiration by relating details of the lives of two towering figures in the Dzogchen lineage, Longchen Rabjam and Jigme Linpa; explains the practice of deity meditation; and teaches two central Dzogchen texts, Longchenpa's Resting at Ease in Illusion and Jigme Lingpa's The Lion's Roar. His commentary on the latter provides invaluable practical advice on how to recognize and correct common errors in practicing the view and meditation of Dzogchen.
