The Circle (Dan Lenson, Bk. 3)

For four years at Annapolis, Dan Lenson prepared for a life at sea—pledging his youth, ambition, and even his life. But when he finally receives his commission, he is assigned to an aging World War II destroyer instead of the modern command he had imagined.

As the USS Ryan plunges into the treacherous waters of the Arctic Circle during storm season, Lenson and his crew pursue a mysterious and dangerous enemy. Yet the greatest threat may lie within the ship itself, where hidden agendas and internal tensions push the vessel—and Lenson—to the brink of disaster.

In this gripping tale of duty, loyalty, and survival, Lenson must confront both external enemies and the limits of his own courage in a deadly test of leadership.
