Starlit

Eager to leave her small town behind, seventeen-year-old Tally Jones strikes out for Los Angeles, but Tally soon learns that Hollywood isn't all red carpets and twinkling lights. Eventually, scrappy Tally lands a role on a soap opera The Bound and Determined - and a new leading man, Gabriel, her co-star. The relationship has its problems, but it's great for publicity, and after two years of winning awards, Tally makes the leap from daytime to primetime. She's cast on a new hit show, Hidden Assets, which stars several up-and-comers, including the supremely catty Susie Sheppard, and falls for a producer who also happens to be Hollywood royalty, triggering a string of events that have disastrous (and hilarious) effects on both her love-life and her budding career in L.A.
