About

Police Chief Cade disappears without a trace after accidentally hitting a man with his patrol car and killing him. While the rest of the police force looks for him and chases a series of clues that condemn Cade as a murderer, Blair Owens can't believe he is guilty of such a crime. Instead, she conducts her own search for the truth.

Meanwhile, there are disturbing news reports that babies are being kidnapped from area hospitals. When a ransom call comes to Hanover House from a baby's abductor, everyone is shocked when the phone is traced to Cade's cell phone. Could he be involved in the baby's disappearance? Is that why he's missing as well?

Blair knows Cade wouldn't leave without a word and he would never be involved in kidnapping children. But how to prove it when all the evidence points to him?

Southern Storm spins and twists with intrigue as the relationship between Blair and Cade is tested by the strong winds of circumstance and deceit.
