About

Modernist Estates Europe takes an inside look at fifteen pioneering housing schemes across Europe, from the Werkbund estates of the 1930s and the post-war Swiss Siedlung Halen to more recent builds such as the Medina in Eindhoven. Through archival and contemporary photography and a series of interviews with current residents, the book celebrates the bold aesthetics of these estates as well as offering a rare insight into how they are inhabited today.
