Jeremías Y Lamentaciones (Comentario Al Texto Hebreo Del Antiguo Testamento)

A Spanish-language edition of the classic Old Testament commentary on Jeremías and Lamentaciones by Carl Friedrich Keil and Franz Julius Delitzsch—widely regarded as a foundational historical-theological exegesis of these prophetic books and a standard reference in biblical scholarship for over 150 years.

Comentario al texto hebreo del Antiguo Testamento – Jeremías y Lamentaciones provides an in-depth philological and theological study of the Hebrew text of the prophetic books of Jeremiah and Lamentations. Drawing on the monumental 19th-century work of Keil and Delitzsch, this commentary offers extensive introduction and contextual material to help readers understand Jeremiah’s life, vocation, and prophetic message within its historical setting, as well as the sorrow-filled poetic reflections of Lamentations following Jerusalem’s fall. It includes detailed analysis of linguistic nuances, historical background, thematic coherence, and theological implications of the Hebrew text, along with recommended resources for further study. This edition remains a key resource for pastors, seminary students, and serious students of Scripture seeking to engage the Old Testament in its original language and interpretive tradition.
