From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman (Volume 2)

Old swordmaster Beryl Gardinant, once a simple country bumpkin, has become a special instructor for the Order of Knights. His former disciple, Serena, now a black-rank adventurer, invites him to join her on a dungeon expedition. Though Beryl has little real dungeon-fighting experience, he accepts. Problems arise when representatives of the adventurer’s guild begin to question whether Beryl is strong enough. The doubts lead to a turn of events where he ends up dueling Serena. Meanwhile, his “hotshot disciples” (Serena among them) are growing up and increasingly interfering in Beryl’s life—both professionally and personally.
