About

Aussie the koala lives in sunny Australia, where Christmas arrives during the summer and warm socks are the last thing he needs from Santa. Through letters exchanged with his cousin Olavi, who lives near Santa Claus in snowy Lapland, he discovers how differently Christmas is celebrated in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

With help from his mischievous cockatoo companion, Aussie explores the contrasting weather, seasonal activities, and holiday customs experienced around the world. Their cheerful correspondence introduces young readers to geography, cultural traditions, and the importance of staying connected with loved ones across great distances.

Filled with gentle humor and festive illustrations, this heartwarming story celebrates friendship, family, and the joy of sharing Christmas experiences despite living in different climates.
