Beginning Phonics Workbook (Bob Books, Stage 1)

Created by a teacher, Bob Books have been helping children learn to read for more than 40 years. This workbook has more than 90 pages of fun activities to help children strengthen their early phonics skills!

With playful stories, silly illustrations, and a phonics approach based on Science of Reading research, Bob Books keep young readers' confidence high, leading to continued success and a love of reading. Your child will soon join the millions of happy kids who say, "I read the whole book!"

The 90+ pages of matching activities, letter mazes, writing practice, and more in this fun workbook can be done alongside the Bob Books Stage 1 phonics learn-to-read boxed sets, or by any child who is just starting to sound out (decode) words. Activities gradually increase in difficulty, beginning with activities using only four letter sounds (m, a, t, s) and progressing until all letters of the alphabet have been introduced.
