Amy's Light

Amy is afraid of shadows in her bedroom, but then she notices a slight glow in her backyard. With exuberance she races outside and catches fireflies in an empty jar. She goes back to her room, only to find their lights go dim. But, to her delight, they light up again when she sets them free - and realizes that the shadows in her room were really nothing at all.

This simple story is perfect for kids who are afraid of the dark, teachers and parents looking for kids books about bugs, and anyone in need of a firefly book for kids.
