About

A fresh twist on a traditional fable

Gert spends the dewy days of summer singing, dancing, and creating glorious works of art for her neighbor, Alice. But winter is coming, and Alice is busy storing supplies for the cold, bleak months ahead.

Now, on a frosty morning with barely a maple key to nibble, the carefree grasshopper wonders how she'll survive winter's deep chill. But Alice has some surprising ideas about that!

Set in a lush green meadow, and brought to life with soft graphite drawings, this delightful twist on the traditional and and grasshopper fable is a tribute to kindness, creativity, and hard work in all its forms.
