Depending on a book’s journey prior to arriving to us, some books might have a small dot or line on the edge or show minor wear and tear (like a bent or torn page/cover/spine). Some books might even have a sticker on the outside cover, but all our books are in great reading condition. Oh, and just a heads-up, every now and then, the cover you get might look a little different from the one you saw online. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, the ISBN will still match and the story inside is exactly the same.

Because these books might be a little less than perfect, we’re able to pass along our savings to you…50% off or more of the list price.

When you shop at Book Outlet, we provide a cover-to-cover guarantee. While we endeavor to ensure books with excessive damage are pulled from our inventory, sometimes they may slip through the cracks. Yes, we may make mistakes from time-to-time, but we’re happy to make amends. If you receive a book that's unreadable due to damage or defect, please reach out to our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your order and we’ll make it right.

Sticker Removal Tips

If you do receive a book with a sticker on the cover, here are some tips and tricks that we have found useful for removing them:

1. Pencil eraser: Use a pencil eraser to remove any leftover sticky residue.

2. Nail polish remover: Use non-acetone nail polish remover on a cotton ball. Blot it onto the residue and then wipe the residue off.

3. Goo Gone: Apply Goo Gone directly to the sticker and then wipe the residue off.
