North of Dawn

For decades, Gacalo and Mugdi have lived a peaceful, largely assimilated life in Oslo. When they lose their beloved son to jihadism in Somalia, the couple reluctantly offers a haven to his family. As their daughter-in-law cloaks herself ever more deeply in religion her children hunger for the freedoms of their new homeland. A rift deepens, with life-altering consequences for the entire family.
