One day, Uncle Albert shows up at the Wheeler family's apartment with a very special present: a pet pig named Marvin! Nick thinks he's marvelous, but not everyone agrees, especially the downstairs neighbor, Mrs. Finnegan. As Marvin gets bigger, and gets into more and more trouble, Nick finds out that having a pet pig in the city is a lot harder than he thought.
