But things take a magical turn: the next morning, Lena wakes up not just bruised, but somewhere else—in Paris, in bed with a man who believes she’s his wife. This isn’t a one-off either. Each new day finds Lena in a different city, with a different past lover. The locales shift—Paris, Kinsale (Ireland), New York City, and more—and each “loop” offers Lena a glimpse at what her life could’ve been if she’d made different choices. 

As she journeys through these alternate “one-day relationships,” Lena starts examining her past decisions, asking: Were any of those past relationships more than just almost something? Were they insignificant—or might saying “yes” have changed everything? And as she gains clarity, Lena must confront what she truly wants, and who she might have been—and still could be.
