Frog Girl

Her journey takes her beneath the lake and into a remarkable spirit world, where she must confront danger and learn what needs to be done to restore balance between the frogs and her community. Structured around the classic hero's journey, the story draws inspiration from traditional story motifs of Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast. 

Paul Owen Lewis's dramatic illustrations incorporate visual influences associated with Northwest Coast artistic traditions, complementing a suspenseful tale about courage, responsibility, nature, and the interconnectedness of living things.
