A Season Of Gifts

It's now 1958, and bighearted Grandma Dowdel, star of the Newbery Medal-winning "A Year Down Yonder" and Newbery Honor Book "A Long Way from Chicago," is back. A new family has moved in next door to Mrs. Dowdel: a minister and his wife and kids. And they are desperately in need of her help (whether they realize it or not).
