The Locket

Michael arrives for work at the Arcadia rest home in Ogden, Utah, embittered and alone after nursing his mother through a prolonged illness and death. He soon meets Esther, an elderly resident who is unwilling to let go of her past, constantly clinging to the memories of her life and lost love in the once prosperous mining camp of Betheltown. Esther befriends Michael, for in him she sees a younger version of herself, and asks him for the favor of a lifetime. Through their friendship, Michael embarks on a soulful journey--and finally finds reason to live, love, and hope again. --
