The Scorch Trials (The Maze Runner, Bk. 2)

Second book of the blockbuster The Maze Runner series — a #1 New York Times bestseller that spawned a successful movie franchise.

After their daring escape from the Maze, the Gladers’ fight for survival is far from over: in WICKED’s twisted “Phase Two,” they must cross the Scorch — the most burned-out, dangerous stretch of a devastated world.

With only two weeks to make it across, they face harrowing challenges: new enemies lurking in the scorched landscape, scarce resources, and the crushing pressure of a mounting deception.

Alliances will be tested, loyalties will be broken — as every decision becomes a matter of life or death.
