The Parade

After a decade of civil war, an unnamed country is at peace. To join the state's divided halves, the government orders the construction of a new highway. Two men, foreign contractors, are sent to finish the highway. While one is wild and adventurous, the other - nicknamed the Clock - wants only to do the work and go home. Blinded by their own struggles, neither sees that as their road lengthens a greater and more terrible conflict approaches.
