About

A charming, humorous, and endearing story about a cat’s search for his forever home.

Sometimes wishes can be tricky . . .
For as long as he can remember, Mike has been roaming the streets, dreaming of a loving home to call his own. But no matter how hard he searches, no one wants a cat like him.

Until Mike spots Annabelle and Rose. With friendly faces and extra cans of fish, they are exactly right. He wishes that they will take him home, and as Annabelle and Rose argue about who will take care of Mike, they make wishes that could never be granted . . . hiss-hiss, grrrrch, cough! . . . or could they?

Mag Takac’s hilarious illustrations and equally charming text combine to create a story about found family, love, and acceptance that is sure to capture the hearts of cat lovers and all those looking for a feel-good laugh.
