Medicine for the Earth

From cross-cultural legends recounting shamanic cures, to the Biblical accounts of the parting of the Red Sea and Jesus multiplying the loaves and fishes, all spiritual traditions are rich in stories about seemingly inexplicable transformations of the natural world. Drawing on the wisdom of ancient and modern-day mystics, Sandra Ingerman explains how to tap into this knowledge and use it to solve the problem of pollution and other maladies plaguing our planet. Through daily practices, Ingerman enables readers to achieve harmony with nature and reconnect with divine principles. She teaches the importance of creating sacred space and of using imagination as a transformational force, and describes in detail the ceremonial acts that must be performed for transmutations to occur. In a dramatic illustration of what can be accomplished when consciousness and awareness fuel our actions, Ingerman tells of her own successful attempt to purify chemically polluted water.
