Earth Seen from the Heart

No one knows the future, but we can detail the threats facing Earth, go and see places where what we feared is happening. The decisions made in the coming years will influence the course of human life. Indeed, we are currently threatened by the 6th extinction, and this awareness must lead to a reaction that moves from attention to intention and action, an action that is our responsibility.

As we long thought, humans are not the masterpiece of creation; we are not the goal of evolution. We must absolutely regain a certain humility and rethink our place in nature, become aware of the total interdependence of all living beings with whom we must be in relationship, integrate our lives with that of the animal world, and stop considering Earth as our property. We must believe that a future is still possible.

Around Hubert Reeves and Frédéric Lenoir, scientists challenge us: biodiversity is currently threatened. If some humans are at the origin of the crisis, others, increasingly numerous, are tackling it head-on and creating solutions. Together, in this work dedicated to future generations, they remind us how much life in all its forms is a fascinating and touching mystery... that it is up to us to preserve!
