About

Seas, rivers, islands, deserts, mountains, cities… From April to November 2021, astronaut Thomas Pesquet photographed our planet in all its facets from the International Space Station. Spectacular and fascinating shots from the Alpha mission, gathered for the first time in a book, which make us realize the fragility of Earth and the absolute necessity to protect it.

A vibrant tribute to the wonders of nature. A masterful plea for a collective awareness of climate change.

Sent on a mission for the second time by the European Space Agency (ESA), Thomas Pesquet spent 200 days in space, during which he carried out 4 spacewalks and took part in more than 200 scientific experiments, some of which are preparing future missions to the Moon and Mars. On this occasion, he was the first French commander of the International Space Station.
