Ish

A bestselling picture book celebrating creativity, self-expression and embracing imperfection.

Ramon loves to draw. Every day, everywhere, his drawings spill across the pages — until one careless comment makes him stop. Suddenly, nothing he creates feels good enough, and Ramon loses confidence in his own art.

Everything changes when his sister Marisol looks at his drawings and sees them not as mistakes, but as something wonderful. She calls them “ish” — vase-ish, tree-ish, fish-ish — and Ramon begins to realise that art doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

Through simple words and expressive illustrations, Ish delivers a gentle, powerful message about creativity, courage and learning to trust your own voice. It encourages readers of all ages to let go of fear, celebrate individuality and create freely.

“A powerful celebration of creativity and self-confidence.” — The New York Times
