About Time

The protagonists of these twelve stories, as in most of Finney's fiction, are well-meaning chaps who've found themselves at odds with their surroundings and their lives. They yearn for escape and often employ time travel as the vehicle: Some of Finney's characters succumb, others observe, some miss their chance.
