About

This hands-on art book introduces children ages 4 and up to finger painting through a colorful underwater theme, showing them how to transform simple fingerprints, paint, and a few drawn details into lively ocean creatures.

Step-by-step projects teach young artists how to create animals ranging from seals and stingrays to friendly fish and fierce sea predators, while partially completed scenes invite them to add their own imaginative touches. The approachable activities encourage children to experiment with shapes, colors, and patterns while developing confidence in their artistic abilities. Finger painting also provides valuable practice in fine-motor control, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and creative expression.

With its combination of guided projects and opportunities for independent creativity, the book provides an engaging screen-free activity for young children who enjoy art, animals, and the underwater world.
