The Guy Under the Sheets

Because no one will write an unauthorized biography about Emmy-winning writer and actor Chris Elliott, he has done it himself, reader, you're hereby warned that much of this book will be disturbing. Few have seen Elliott's dark side: a ghastly childhood spent on Manhattan's upper east side; his first job, entertaining mobsters with his Judy Garland impersonation; and countless episodes from a life spent faking his way to semi-moderate fame and fortune. But seriously, Elliott is a brilliantly comic bestselling writer, and his blend of fictional fun and real-life anecdotes - from his start on late night with David Letterman to cabin boy and beyond - is bound to delight and entertain.
