The Dinosaurs (Compact Knowledge)

Since the first dinosaur bones were discovered more than 150 years ago, dinosaurs have fired our collective imagination, and we still tend to think of them as fearsome creatures. This book places dinosaurs in the context of the Earth's history, and gives an overview of the conditions in which they lived until their mysterious extinction some 65 million years ago.

Each dinosaur is introduced with its scientific name, size and weight, its diet and its distribution. Detailed drawings and clear tables of the geological ages make this book an exciting journey into time: back to the primeval world of these great reptiles.
