About

This is a summer learning workbook aimed at students who are finishing 6th grade and heading into 7th. Its goal is to prevent the “summer slide” — where students lose some of what they learned during the school year — by keeping their skills sharp over the break.

Key features:

  •  Short daily activities: Designed so that children can complete them in about 15 minutes a day.
  • Comprehensive subject coverage: Exercises across multiple subjects — math, language arts, science, social studies — along with reading, handwriting, fitness, and more.
  • 80 pages: Enough material for regular, varied review without being overwhelming.
  • Engaging & practical content: Includes outdoor learning, hands-on projects, fitness challenges, and reading/writing reinforcement. The design aims to keep learners engaged with fun, active tasks.
  • Goal-setting & tracking: Monthly goal setting and progress tracking, plus an answer key.
  • Bonus online component: There is online practice via IXL (a learning platform) included for further reinforcement.
