About

Following the birth of the author's miracle baby – from the one viable embryo – Laura decided to create a story that allowed other families to talk about and celebrate the many different ways that babies arrive into the world.

This magical story for preschool children introduces a variety of robot families and their babies of all shapes and sizes. It explains, in simple terms, the various ways families can be formed, as well as the range of emotions parents can feel when starting a family. Robo-Babies is a warm and gentle story for sharing with children who perhaps arrived into their families down a more complicated path, but is also perfect for sharing with all children as a way to normalise the many different ways babies meet their parents.
