About

In 1987, in a one-bedroom apartment in Santa Monica, California, an aspiring actress from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, in need of her proverbial "day job", started a part-time, one-woman party-planning company with only a Smith-Corona typewriter and a fax machine next to her bed.

25 years later, as President of Sequoia Productions, Cheryl Cecchetto and her crackerjack, special event team deliver comprehensive, cutting edge celebrations to the most distinguished of clients and savviest of guests. Trained in the performing arts, Cheryl's penchant for the dramatic combines both classic elements and emerging technologies to transform Hollywood socialites via all of the five senses, in the city that should be known not only as, "The Entertainment Capital of the World", but also "The Entertain-ING Capital of the World".

With humor and candor, Cheryl details the collaborative inspiration and challenges behind many of her creations, as well as the behind-the-scenes drama and hilarity that often comes with the territory. She also shares her philosophy on work ethic, service, generosity, family and balance.
