Get the Bible Into My Life

It's important to know facts about the Bible, but it is even more important to recognize and apply the life lessons contained in the Bible. Miller shows that not only does the Bible have certain general messages that run through its pages, but each book of the Bible has things to teach us about how we should live. Beginning with "The Bible's Top Guidelines for Today," the author examines the Ten Commandments, the Greatest Commandment (as identified by Jesus), and the most famous sermon of all time, the Sermon on the Mount. Then he proceeds book by book from Genesis through Revelation, pulling out the most important ideas so that we may more readily apply them to the situations we face every day. The heart of the book is found in the Bible Scenarios You Can Use, selected scenes from each book that are especially relevant for people in the 21st century. Line drawings throughout the book make each scene come to life. Maps and a subject index add to the book's practical value for every Bible student.
